In the last 25 years community members can recall only one variety show, one
play, and perhaps a couple of minstrels. The
most recent major production was in March,
1969. Spoudea ta Lahana (Big Deal!),
which was directed by Dr. George Jameson,
was a farce/comedy and was a big success. It
was a present-day play typifying a Greek-
American household. It was reminiscent of
tragic Greek theater with all the anisihies and
stenohories of daily life.
