Nearly all decorating ideas filter through the imagination of Charlotte Chrissos. Since the first festival, she has done all the large scale paintings and backdrops. She has the gift of thinking and planning in large numbers and is never cowed by the logistics of landscaping and decorating a cavernous tent.
Always supported by her husband, Bill, they contribute days and

nights of their time. Working right up until opening, and with many helping hands, they manage to convert Park and Goodale into a little corner of the Mediterranean.

The Horiatiko Spiti, or Village Room, has been a real crowd pleaser for 14 years. A Sunday School room is converted into a typical village home. Here visitors can see examples of handwork, furnishings, and" utensils used in the villages of Greece. One of the key planners for this room is Eugenia Karonis, shown embroidering.

Co-chairmen for Festival '87 were, L. to R.: Nick Mamais and Carl Chnstman.

The religion room is furnished with the elements used on an Orthodox altar. Icons and the priest's vestments are displayed, and
inquiries are answered by Sotiri Kididis.

A regular feature for five years, this • costume room was arranged museum-style with mannequins dressed in regional
costumes.
