ORGANIST
In March of 1971 Mr. Paul Brobst was
hired as our organist. He has served this choir as accompanist with utmost loyalty. He found
the liturgical music to be very easy to play. He began playing piano at age six, and when he was twelve he played the pump organ in his church in Coldwater, Ohio.
Before coming to Annunciation, he was the regular organist at six other churches. He and his wife Dorothy are members of Bethlehem Lutheran Church on the west side. He is retired from the Columbus Public School System where he was a music teacher. For many years he has been a member of the American Guild of Organist of Columbus. Now 81 years old, he says as long as his fingers are nimble, he will continue to play the organ. A pleasant man with a positive Christian outlook, he is well-loved in our community.
