Today's Greek school has an enrollment of 55 students and 15 adults. Principal, Mrs Litsa Kozyris, has nine teachers on her staff. Real strides have been made over the years in the types of books and visually exciting materials used to teach Greek. The children learn Greek history, culture, literature, and lifestyles at the same time they are learning language. They even have a Greek version of Scrabble.
Programs and little plays are regularly performed for the entire Greek congregation. The most notable programs are the patriotic recitations on March 25, the Christmas program, and the end-of-the-year program Their display at the Greek Festival each year shows the array of books, maps, and teaching materials used today.
